Why Should I Protect My Car in Fall?

Autumn is a very beautiful season: magnificent colourful landscapes of ocher, brown and red hues, very special luminosity, fruits and delicious vegetables (mushrooms, chestnuts, pomegranates, pumpkin etc...). But in terms of auto protection, many factors are more harmful...

1- Autumn Rhymes with Condensation

With autumn, the rains intensify and so does the humidity. Risks for yourself. When moisture settles on your bodywork in the form of condensation, the damage can appear quickly: the mushrooms are very useful as they help in recycling, but are harmful to your paint, chrome and plastics. We see well the result of condensation on the window frame... It is therefore important to seal the scratches on your bodywork and apply a protective wax on imperfections. If you store your car over many months, mould can penetrate the interior: seats and upholstery are impregnated with a musty smell or they can mould... Opt for a quality and very breathable protective cover. If you opt for a protective cover, ensure it is breathable. This allows ambient humidity to circulate and prevents the formation of condensation. For long storage duration, be sure to leave your windows slightly rolled down and use an anti-humidity product within the passenger compartment. 

2- Autumn Rhymes with Dry Leaves

A real nuisance for your car, autumn leaves can:
- Plug the vents (air, air conditioning, etc.) as well as block certain mechanisms.
- Create areas of condensation where they accumulate (they are usually wet). So be sure to remove them regularly if you do not use protective covers.

3- Autumn Rhymes with Strong Winds

And strong wind = many other problems like:
- the pine cones, branches and other accessories of these beautiful trees that fly away and risk scratching or causing shocks to your body.
- the dust that settles on the paint. It is enough difficult to keep a clean vehicle during this season.

4- Autumn Rhymes with Wintering and Storage

Do not skimp on the protection of your car which will be in hibernation for several months. Avoid dirt, mould, scratches and other deformations using:
- Cleaning and car care products that give a coat protection to your entire car
- Breathable quality car covers
- Tire chocks: avoid square tires and costs exorbitant costs that result from investing in these protections for anti-deformation of car tires.
- Car battery charge maintenance system
